This is just a quick post to explain exactly what is going to happen here at Boston Fire Wire.  First off, we are in no way connected to BFD.  Any opinions or statements made on this site are those of the site owners and not the view of the Boston Fire Department.

This site is designed to give updates of current events in the City of Boston and area fire departments.  This site will also carry news on firefighting from all across the country.

My name is Eric and I will be doing most of the content.  I am  a 14 year veteran of a professional fire department.  I am not from Boston but I am huge fan of the city, and especially the Red Sox.  You don’t have to be a Red Sox fan to be here, but it sure helps!
