While on standby at Vestal Station 1, West Corners Fire responded to a possible Tractor-Trailer fire on Route 17 West at Exit 67 North. Chief 29-A arrived on scene and advised a working fire, the crew of Engine 29-1 worked quickly and aggressively to extinguish the heavily involved vehicle.
All of the drivers personal items we safely removed from the cab due to the quick work of the engine crew.
