Two firefighters from Wilmington, Delaware were killed this morning and one remains in critical condition. The call came in about 0315 Saturday morning. First arriving units arrived to a working fire with fire and smoke showing. Initial reports were several people trapped including small children.
As the crews entered the floor collapsed, trapping the firefighters. Two of the firefighters were rescued and one never made it out. The third firefighter was recovered later, the body draped in an American flag. Our thoughts and prayers to all affected.
