Lansing Firefighter Killed in Hit and Run Incident While Collecting for MDA


“35-year-old Dennis Rodeman, a seven-year veteran of the Lansing Fire Department, died this evening, according to a statement from Lansing mayor Virg Bernero.

Rodeman was a Marine veteran, having served in Fallujah, Iraq. He was struck down today while participating in a “Fill The Boot” charity effort to collect donations to help children afflicted with muscular dystrophy.”
