High Rise Fire in Rochester, NY Reaches 4 Alarms

On August 30th, 2015, Buckingham Commons in Rochester, NY reached 4 alarms.  Here is a recap.

Fire crews arrived to heavy flames coming from the roof of the Buckingham commons. The 7-floor building sits on the corner of North Plymouth Avenue and Allen street. All 36 apartments were evacuated. 

Afterwards fire officials did a roll call just to make sure everyone got out safely. Residents on the top floor said there was smoke in the hallways, but none of the alarms went off. “
