RIT crews were activated this morning during a basement fire in Sacramento. 2 members of the initial attack crew were in the basement and encountered heavy fire conditions. A mayday was activated which prompted RIT activation. A third firefighter was also treated for smoke inhalation and heat exhaustion.
UPDATE: 2 Firefighters are being moved to a burn center.
