A 2 alarm structure fire today in East Boston was quickly extinguished today by the Boston Fire Department. First arriving units quickly struck a 2nd alarm, having smoke and fire showing on a 2 1/2 story dwelling. The fire was contained to outside of the structure. Chief estimates damage to be $150,000 and there were no injuries.
